LOOSE LEASH WALKING – Sunday July 20th starting at 12:30pm Tony Wolfe/Tail Waggin’ Dog Training will be at The Posh Paw in Gig Harbor, WA (4793 Pt. Fosdick Dr. NW, Suite 100) to take a group with their dogs “out for a walk”. We will start at the store and discuss how to get your dog to walk on a loose leash and then put that discussion to use. No pinch or choke chains. This is a FREE event. Please contact Tony Wolfe to register for this as space will be limited or you may register at the store.

STAY IN PLACE – Saturday July 26th starting at 10am Tail Waggin’ Dog Training will be at Green Cottage Pets in Gig Harbor, WA (3024 Harborview Dr.) to help you teach your dog reliable stays. Proctor Arts Fest – Saturday August 2nd Tony Wolfe and the Fort Fido Flyball Demo Squad will be demonstrating the fast and furious sport of Flyball held at historic Proctor District in Tacoma’s North End.

WOOFSTOCK ’08 – Sunday August 3rd Tony Wolfe and the Fort Fido Flyball Demo Squad will be demonstrating the fast and furious sport of Flyball. This demonstration will be held during the festival located at Todd Field on the campus of the University of Puget Sound 1500 N. Warner Street, Tacoma, WA 98116.

SENSE-ATION HARNESS & LOOSE LEASH WALKING – Saturday August 9th from 10am – 11am Tony Wolfe/Tail Waggin’ Dog Training will be at Green Cottage Pets (612 Regents Blvd. Fircrest, WA) to demonstrate and sell front attachment harnesses. These harnesses help solve pulling, lunging, jumping and other lease problems. It greatly increases communication between you and your dog(s). Immediately following starting at 11am, Tony will take a group with their dogs “out for a walk”. We will start at the store and discuss how to get your dog to walk on a loose leash and then put that discussion to use. No pinch or choke chains. This is a FREE event. TRICKS – Saturday September 6th at starting at 10am Tony Wolfe/Tail Waggin’ Dog Training will be at Green Cottage Pets (612 Regents Blvd. Fircrest, WA) to teach owners what fun tricks they can teach their dog(s). At the end of the seminar we will have a competition on who has the best trick!

PUPS IN THE PARK – On Saturday September 27th from 10am – 2pm SUNDOGs is having their 2nd annual festival held at Cirque Park in University Place, WA. Tail Waggin’ Dog Training will be there doing a crowd participation seminar, vendor booth (stop by and say hi), and Tony Wolfe and the Fort Fido Flyball Demo Squad will be demonstrating the fast and furious sport of Flyball. Come on out and enjoy the fun!


Welcome to Tail Waggin' Dog Training

At Tail Waggin' Dog Training my goal is to train you to train your dog by providing individual training instruction in the privacy of your own home.

As I help you teach your dog the basic obedience commands I will also be providing you with the skills to communicate with your dog! These skills will be invaluable throughout your relationship with your dog - whether you want to advance to off-leash training or just teach the High Five trick to impress your friends!

Tail Waggin' Dog Training will introduce to you a positive training approach through rewards based clicker training. With using positive reinforcement methods, your dog will learn to respond to the tone of your voice, your body language and hand signals.

So, if you are looking to train a new puppy, or trying to correct undesirable behavior in a mature dog, Tail Waggin' Dog Training will help you accomplish your goals by using methods and techniques that are positive and rewarding for both you and your pet.
